  15. If you attempt to start (boot) your system and encounter either of the
  16. following messages
  17.  
  18.    Boot - can't find NTLDR.
  19.  
  20.    -or-
  21.  
  22.    Windows NT could not start because the following file is missing or
  23.    corrupt: <filename>.
  24.  
  25. you should run the Emergency Repair Process to restore one or more
  26. missing or corrupt system files. To start the repair process, you need
  27. to boot from your Windows NT boot disk and press R for Repair. You can
  28. verify and restore missing system files that prevent your system from
  29. booting. If a file is found to be missing or corrupt, you will be
  30. prompted to insert the Setup media containing that missing file so
  31. that it can be replaced. After all the files are scanned, you can then
  32. reboot your system.
